AMERICUS, Ga. – The Columbus State University women's tennis team stayed perfect in Peach Belt Conference play with a 9-0 win over Georgia Southwestern on Sunday. The match was played in Americus.

Columbus State (8-1, 3-0 PBC) lost just seven games combined through all nine matches on the day.

Giorgia Vitale and
Marleen Tilgner were perfect at second doubles with an 8-0 win.
Natalia Kattah Paz and
Luise Sachs lost just one game at third doubles and
Beatriz Lopez and
Noa Davico took an 8-2 win at first doubles.

Three Lady Cougars picked up 6-0, 6-0 victories, as Davico, Tilgner and Kattah Paz cruised. Lopez and Sachs each turned in 6-0, 6-1 wins and Vitale was a 6-1, 6-1 winner at third singles.

The Lady Cougars return home for a nonconference match against Wingate on Monday. First serve is scheduled for 1 p.m. at the Walden Tennis Center.
