COLUMBUS - The Columbus State University women's basketball team defeated Albany State University 93-43 on Wednesday night in the Frank G. Lumpkin Jr. Center.
Five players scored in double-figures led by
Imani Arnold's 22 points. The transfer was 7-for-9 from the field with seven steals and four rebounds.
Jurnee Smith added 16 while
Alycia Reese chipped in 15.
CSU outscored ASU 28-4 in the second quarter to open up an impressive 51-17 lead at the break.
Chrisalyn Boston grabbed a game-high 15 rebounds for CSU.
As a team, CSU shot 46.6% (34-for-73) and was 5-for-22 from beyond the arc.Â
Albany State committed 45 turnovers leading to 46 points.
