Cougars Set for PBC Championship Rematch Against Lander

Lander defeated CSU three times last season, including in the 2020 PBC Championship game.

COLUMBUS - After a late adjustment in the schedule, the Columbus State University men's basketball team is set to get back in action on Monday, Feb. 15 against defending Peach Belt Conference champions Lander University. Tip time is set for 6 p.m. in Finis Horne Arena in Greenwood, S.C.

The Cougars were scheduled to play at Clayton State University on Saturday; however, the Lakers didn't have enough active players to participate. A makeup date hasn't been announced at this time.

Monday's game is a rematch of the 2020 PBC Tournament Championship with the Bearcats walking away with the trophy after a 76-73 win in Greenwood.

LU is allowing fans into Finis Horne Arena on a first-come, first-serve basis. The only individuals guaranteed a seat will be those on the Lander player/coach list. Tickets cost $5.

Cougars fans will be able to listen to the game live on 88.5 WCUG Radio with CSU Hall of Fame broadcaster Scott Miller calling all the action.
