Cougars Ready for DI College of Charleston

It will be CSU's first regular-season game against a Division I team since the 2009-10 season.

COLUMBUS - The Columbus State University men's basketball team will play its first regular-season game against a Division I opponent in over a decade on Saturday when the Cougars travel to face the College of Charleston. Tipoff is set for 1 p.m. inside TD Arena in Charleston, S.C.

The contest was added on Thursday following the postponement of CSU's originally scheduled game against Young Harris College. Columbus State was also not in action on Wednesday due to the University of North Georgia entering the PBC's COVID-19 protocol.

Admission will be free to the general public on Saturday. However, the capacity at TD Arena will remain at a reduced 30 percent capacity. CofC Athletics' clear bag policy is still in place, and fans are required to wear face coverings (over the nose and mouth) as a condition of all guest entry and throughout TD Arena unless actively eating or drinking.

Cougar fans can listen to Saturday's game live on 88.5 WCUG Radio with CSU Hall of Fame broadcaster Scott Miller on the call in Charleston, S.C. A live stream of the game will be on FloSports; however, a subscription is required.
