• Columbus State (2-2, 2-2) is looking to get back to its winning ways after a month off. In four games, the Lady Cougars are averaging 66.5 points per game while shooting 39.4% from the floor.
• In their last game on Jan. 20, the Lady Cougars dropped a 73-50 decision to No. 10 North Georgia in Columbus. Freshman Amber Abusbeih was the lone CSU player in double figures in points with 10.
• Freshman Emilia Tenbrock has shined in her first four collegiate games. The 6-foot guard from Germany is leading the team in points per game (14.8), field goal percentage (55.6%) and 3-point shooting (42.1%). Tenbrock scored a season-high 20 points against UNC Pembroke on Jan. 9.
• Chrisalyn Boston has been her usual self on both sides of the floor so far this year. The senior is currently averaging a double-double (11 ppg, 11 rebs/g) and grabbed 19 rebounds against UNCP earlier this season. Before the month hiatus, she ranked second in the Peach Belt Conference in blocks with 12.
• Jurnee Smith and Aryan Dozier have both started all four games for the Lady Cougars. Smith is averaging 9.8 points and over two steals per game, while Dozier is chipping in 8.3 points and 6.3 rebounds per game.
• Olonna Rawls is another freshman making an impression across the conference for Columbus State and head coach Matt Houser. She scored 22 points against Flagler on Jan. 16 and is second on the team with seven made 3's this season. In four games, Rawls is averaging 12 points and eight rebounds.
