• The Cougars (4-5, 4-5 PBC) haven't been in action since taking a 93-69 loss at Young Harris College on Feb. 3. It will be the first time CSU has played inside the Lumpkin Center since knocking off Francis Marion University 80-74 in overtime on Jan. 30.

• Columbus State has won back-to-back games inside the Lumpkin Center and is averaging nearly 10 more points per game (79.4 v. 69.5) in Columbus than on the road.

• Senior transfer Kalen Clifton has loved playing in his new home so far. In five games inside the Lumpkin Center, the guard is leading the team averaging 14.6 points per game while shooting 60.4% (32-for-53) from the floor. Overall, the Douglasville, Ga. native is averaging 12.9 ppg and is sixth in the Peach Belt Conference in shooting (56.3%).

• Columbus State failed to record a blocked shot in its last game against Young Harris. Despite that, the Cougars rank 14th in the nation among DII schools and second in the PBC in blocks/game (4.11).  

• Columbus State has been one of the best rebounding teams in the PBC in 2020-21 and senior Anthony Moore has played a vital role. The Phenix City, Ala. native is sixth in the conference averaging 7.9 rebounds per game, including two double-doubles to his tally. Over his last five games, Moore is averaging 11.2 points and 8.6 rebounds.

• As a team, Columbus State leads the PBC in total rebounds per game (39.4) and offensive rebounds per game (14.7). CSU hasn't been out-rebounded in any of its previous five games.

• Senior Hunter Preston still leads the team in scoring averaging 13.2 points per game. Preston has scored in double figures in each of the last five games.
 

• Georgia College (6-2, 6-2 PBC) is one of the hottest teams in the PBC and will enter Wednesday with a five-game win streak.  It's been nearly a month since the Bobcats dropped a game, which was on Jan. 13 against Georgia Southwestern University.

• However, the Bobcats are in a similar situation as the Cougars with GC's latest game coming on Jan. 30 against USC Aiken.

• So far this year, the Bobcats are averaging 74.3 points per game and rank near the top of the league in field goal percentage (46.7%) and 3-point shooting (37.4%).

• On the defensive side of the floor, the Bobcats are stingy in allowing open 3-pointers. GC holds its opponents to a 29.3% mark from downtown, the best mark in the PBC.  

• Jordan Thomas is the leading scorer for the Bobcats averaging 19.6 points per game while shooting 40.9% from the field and 41.5% from the 3-point line. The guard averages 3.1 3-pointers per game, which leads all PBC players, and ranks fifth in points per game.

• Kohl Roberts has been a dual-threat for the Bobcats this season averaging 14.1 points and 7.4 rebounds per game. Roberts roams the paint, shooting a team-high 63.6% from the floor, while also having a team-best seven blocks.

• Georgia College hasn't shot below 37% as a team in any game this season. Against USC Aiken on Jan. 30, the Bobcats shot a blistering 61.7% from the floor, including going 10-for-21 from 3-point range.
