COLUMBUS - The Columbus State University softball team is hosting open tryouts for the 2021-22 season on Friday, August 27 at 2:30 p.m. The tryout will be held at Columbus State's Softball Field - Cougar Field, on CSU's main campus.

In order to tryout, a student must be enrolled in classes at Columbus State University for the current academic year, and are required to submit the following forms prior to the tryout date to Assistant Coach Katie Durham.

• Completed physical exam within six months
• Completed tryout waiver
• Completed sickle waiver form or sickle test on file
• Valid health insurance card
