COLUMBUS - The Columbus State University men's basketball team will look for the season sweep of Augusta University when the two teams meet on Saturday, Jan. 15. Tipoff is at 3:30 p.m. inside Christenberry Fieldhouse in Augusta, Ga.

LAST TIME OUT
Down three starters, the Cougars raced by Young Harris College 89-75 on Wednesday in the North Georgia mountains. Fifth-year forward Hunter Preston had a 29-point, 10-rebound double-double to pace five Cougars who set or tied season-highs in scoring. 

CSU NOTES 
• Columbus State is playing its fourth game against a ranked opponent this season. CSU is 2-1 so far in the matchups
• The Cougars have shot at least 70% as a team from the free throw line in all 14 games this year
• Langston Gaither enters Saturday as the reigning PBC Player of the Week. The guard averaged 31 points and 8.5 rebounds last week and is currently second in the league in scoring

SCOUTING AUGUSTA
• Augusta (12-2, 2-2) is the only PBC team to be ranked in every NABC regular-season poll this season. The Jags are currently 12th in the poll and 13th in the D2SIDA top-25
• The Jaguars will be looking to rebound from a 88-81 road loss to Lander University on Wednesday
• Five players average in double figures, including Miguel Arnold (15.4 ppg.) and Tyshaun Crawford (14.8 ppg.) Crawford ranks second in the PBC in rebounding (7.9 rebs/g) and blocks (30). 

SERIES HISTORY
• Augusta leads the all-time series 49-36, despite CSU winning the first meeting this year 73-62 on Dec. 20
• The Cougars haven't defeated Augusta twice during the regular season since the 2002-03 season
