SEATTLE - The schedule for the 2022 NCAA Division II Women's Soccer Final Four was recently announced, with the Columbus State University women's soccer team securing the second seed in the tournament. CSU will matchup against the third seed, Western Washington University, in the second semifinal game on Thursday, Dec. 1 at 11 p.m. EST. at Interbay Stadium in Seattle.
The first semifinal match is also on Thursday and features the top seed West Chester University (Pa.) and the fourth seed Ferris State University (Mich.). The game will kickoff at 8 p.m. EST.
The women's soccer tournament is apart of the 2022 NCAA Division II National Festival, which also includes men's soccer, women's volleyball, field hockey, and men's and women's cross country. Opening ceremonies for the festival will begin Tuesday, Nov. 29.
This is CSU's third semifinal match in program history and could potentially be the second national championship appearance, all under the direction of Head Coach
Jay Entlich. The last time the Cougars played in the National Championship was in 2016 and semifinals in 2018.
