COLUMBUS, Ga. - The Columbus State University women's basketball team scored six points in the final two minutes of the game to defeat Anderson University 64-61 Tuesday evening in the Frank G. Lumpkin, Jr. Center. CSU improves to 4-1 and AU falls to 2-3.
After being down 28-22 going into halftime, the Lady Cougars rallied in the second half to down the Trojans, outscoring Anderson in 22-17 in the third quarter and 20-17 in the fourth. Anderson almost got the best of CSU, taking the lead by three with 1:36 left in the game. CSU didn't give up, rallying back with two back-to-back layups by Simone Lett and
Kristyn Goshay. Lett gave CSU a cushion with two made free-throws.
NOTES:
- Olonna Rawls and Lett each led CSU with 13 points and seven rebounds each
- Amber Abusbeih scored 11 points and made four steals
- Goshay finished with nine points and tallied three steals

Columbus State will be back in action on Friday, Dec. 2 against the University of West Florida inside the Lumpkin Center, with tip-off at 5:30 p.m.
