TUSKEGEE, Ala. - The Columbus State University women's basketball team lost to Tuskegee University 57-74 Friday evening inside the James Center Arena in Tuskegee. The Lady Cougars fall to 5-2 while the Golden Tigers improve to 7-1.
After ending the first period tied 15-15, the Golden Tigers took the lead in the second and went into halftime leading the Lady Cougars by 10 points. Columbus State couldn't find a way to bounce back in the second half, especially with
Olonna Rawls suffering an ankle sprain. Tuskegee outscored CSU 36-29 in the second half.
NOTES:
- Letiya Reeves led CSU with 19 points and Zuzanna Rudenko scored 10
- Rawls scored nine points in the first half before getting injured
- Maya Jackson grabbed nine rebounds and added seven points, shooting 3-for-4 from the free-throw line
- Amber Abusbeih did not play in tonight's game

Columbus State will travel to Augusta, Ga. on Monday, Dec. 12 for the first Peach Belt Conference matchup versus the Lady Jaguars at 5:30 p.m.
