COLUMBUS - The Columbus State University men's basketball team will continue its busiest stretch of the season on Wednesday as the Cougars host Peach Belt Conference rival USC Aiken inside the Frank G. Lumpkin Jr. Center.
LAST TIME OUT
• The Cougars (14-6, 5-5 PBC) needed a furious rally to defeat Albany State University 78-75 on Monday night in non-conference play. CSU was down by 17 with 13 minutes to play before storming back for the win.
Christian Chambers had his first 20-plus point game since mid-December after leading the Cougars with 22 points
COUGAR NOTES
• The last three games for Columbus State have all been decided by three points or less
• CSU is looking to avoid its first three-game home losing streak since the 2018-19 season
• The Cougars had 14 steals in Monday's come from behind victory to set a season-high. It was the first time CSU cracked the double-digit mark in steals

Nelson Haskin posted his second double-double of the year against Albany State with a 13-point, 11-rebound effort. Haskin is fourth in the PBC in rebounding (7.6 reb/g) and second in the nation (DII level) with 52 blocks
• CSU is 2-1 this season when trailing at the half
• The Cougars are currently fifth in the PBC standings and three games back in the loss column from USC Aiken, who is in third
SCOUTING USC AIKEN
• USC Aiken (13-6, 7-2) will try to keep up with the top of the PBC standings on Wednesday night, looking for its second straight win. The Pacers picked up a 94-85 home victory on Wednesday over the University of North Georgia
• The Pacers are 8-1 at home this season but just 4-4 in true road games
• Tehree Horn is one of the top scorers in the PBC, averaging 17.4 points per game. Horn has seven 20-plus point games this year, including dropping 30 against Clayton State University. He is currently fourth in the league in scoring and fourth in shooting (56.1%)
• Five other players average at least 7.5 points, with David Strother (16.3 ppg) and Preston Parks (12.8 ppg) both in double figures.
