COLUMBUS - The Columbus State University softball team will host the 2022 Red-White-Blue Classic at Cougar Field on the campus of Columbus State University on Saturday, Feb. 19 and Sunday, Feb. 20. The Cougars will play four games over the two-day tournament, while eight games in all will take place at Cougar Field.

Columbus State will play two games on Saturday (11 a.m. and 5:45 p.m.) and two on Sunday (1:15 p.m. and 5:45 p.m.)

Cougar Notes

• CSU is 4-4 after adding three wins at the Cougar Classic last weekend. The Cougars swept Union and beat Montevallo.
• Hannah Rose Corbin was named the Peach Belt Conference Pitcher of the Week after going 3-0 over the weekend, with a 0.82 ERA and allowing only four hits and six walks allowed in 17 innings of work.
• Morgan Elston had an outstanding weekend at the plate, going 6-for-12 in four games with two doubles, a home run, four RBIs and two runs scored.

AUM Notes

• The Warhawks are 5-2 after dropping two games at the Embry-Riddle Tournament last weekend in Daytona Beach, Fla. AUM split with Embry-Riddle and Tampa.
• Gia Martin leads AUM offensively with a .474 batting average, two doubles, three triples, two home runs and 18 RBIs. In AUM's most recent game against ERAU she went 3-for-3 with two doubles and five RBIs.
• Morgan Ferguson is a threat inside the circle with a 4-0 record and posting a 1.59 ERA in 22 innings pitched.

Bobcat Notes

• Georgia College is 3-5 with two wins against North Greenville University and one win over the University of West Georgia.
• Shea Zweifel leads the Bobcats at the plate with a .467 batting average with two doubles. Brooke Lougher posts a .381 batting average with six RBIs and five runs scored.
• Macy Banks posts a 2.56 ERA in 13.2 innings pitched with 10 strikeouts.

Bulldog Notes

• Wingate posts a 7-2 record, dropping games to Florida Tech and Barry University.
• Savanna Brooks leads the Bulldog offense with a .370 batting average with three doubles, one triple, four homers and 15 RBIs.
• In 19.2 innings of work, Raechel Cutcher posts a 0.71 ERA and is 4-0 with 14 strikeouts.
