COLUMBUS - The 10th-ranked Columbus State University women's team came out firing on all cylinders with a 7-0 blanking of Clark Atlanta University on Wednesday for its second 7-0 win in the past two days.Â
Columbus State (6-4) was sharp in doubles play, winning both matches 6-0 with Clark Atlanta being no match for the Lady Cougars.
The Lady Cougars collected six more points in singles action when Neila Trklja led off and won 6-1, 6-0 over Madison Moffatt at first singles. Yelena Labaat was able to hand her match when she swept fourth singles. Dominate wins from Valentina Abrile and Mariana Ramirez also highlighted the day.Â
