COLUMBUS - With rain on the forecast for Saturday in Americus, Ga., the Columbus State University softball team will now play a doubleheader against Peach Belt Conference opponent Georgia Southwestern on Friday, April 15, following with a single game on Saturday, April 16.

Cougar Notes
- Columbus State is entering the PBC series 20-20 (9-6 PBC).
- CSU recently split a doubleheader with Shorter University on Wednesday, April 13. The Cougars beat the Eagles 8-4 in the opening game as Morgan Elston led CSU going 3-for-4 with three runs scored, two RBIs and one double. Canady and Harris each added two hits.
- Jessica Lopez (4-6) earned her fourth win inside the circle for the Cougars after pitching five innings, striking out five and allowing four runs.
