COLUMBUS - The Columbus State University women's soccer team will host Peach Belt Conference opponent USC Beaufort on Wednesday, Oct. 4 at the Walden Soccer Complex. Kick off is set for 2:15 p.m.
This is only the second matchup between the Cougars and Sand Sharks, with Columbus State defeating USCB 2-0 on Sept. 28, 2022.
ABOUT USC BEAUFORT
- USCB is 6-1 (2-1 PBC) and are on a two-game win streak
- On the road, the Sand Sharks are 1-1
- Mari Kalvatn leads the offense with seven goals, six assists and 20 points
- In goal, Emily Worrell tallies 24 saves
ABOUT COLUMBUS STATE
- CSU is 4-3-1 (2-0-1) and are on a three-game win streak
- The Cougars are 2-1 at thw Walden Soccer Complex
- Emma Beddow, Sarah Hungerford and Kendal Coreil each have four goals this season, with Coreil collecting a hat trick against Tusculum on Sunday
