WILSON, N.C. - The Columbus State University men's basketball team opened the 2023-24 season with a 82-70 victory over Barton College Friday, Nov. 10, at Barton's 45 Second Classic.
The Cougars out shot the Bulldogs in both halves and four Cougars' scored in double-digits.
Wisdom Uboh led Columbus State with 17 points, four assists and four steals.
Jarrett Adderton and
Jehloni James each recorded 11 points and
Joshua Jerome tallied 10.
James shot a perfect 4-for-4 from the field, 2-for-2 from behind the arc and was 1-for-2 from the free-throw line.
On the boards,
Marquis Davison grabbed 10 rebounds and James collected six.Â
As a team, CSU shot 45.2 percent from the field, 44.0 percent from three-point range and 65.2 percent from the charity line.Â
