Box Score DAHLONEGA, Ga. - The Columbus State University women's soccer team defeated Flagler College Friday night in the Peach Belt Conference tournament semifinals at the UNG Soccer Complex 2-1. The Cougars will advance to the tournament championship on Sunday, Nov. 12 and will match up with first-seeded University of North Georgia.
Columbus State took an early 1-0 lead over the Saints thanks to an 
Anna Grady goal in the seventh minute. Grady's goal was the only goal of the half, even though Flagler out shot CSU 15-5 in the first 45 minutes. 
Sarah Hungerford gave CSU a 2-0 lead with a goal in the 59th minute, assisted by Grady. The Saints had a chance to get on the board in the 62nd with a penalty kick by Offensive Player of the Year Andrea Fernandez, however CSU goalkeeper 
Lizzie Hedrick made a fantastic save to keep Flagler off the board.
Just one minute after the PK, Fernandez scored the only goal for Flagler of the match. Hedrick tallied 10 saves for the Cougars.

The Cougars and Nighthawks will face off at 4 p.m. Sunday at the UNG Soccer Complex for the PBC tournament championship.
