COLUMBUS - The men's basketball game on Tuesday, Nov. 21 inside the Lumpkin Center between Columbus State and Miles College has been canceled.

The Cougars will not play again until Saturday, Nov. 25 in UNC Pembroke's Give Thanks Tournament in Pembroke, N.C. Columbus State will play Chowan University on Saturday at 4 p.m. and UNC Pembroke on Sunday at 3 p.m.

ABOUT CHOWAN

• The Hawks are 2-1, recently losing to St. Augustine 87-82 in double overtime
• Daylan Askew leads Chowan with a 16.3 scoring average
• On defense, RJ Wilson averages 10.3 rebounds per game

ABOUT UNC PEMBROKE

• The Braves are 2-3 and fell to Tusculum 81-80 on Saturday night
• Elijah Cobb is the leading scorer for UNCP, averaging 14.8 points per game and also leads the team in rebounds with a 7.4 average
• JaJuan Carr posts an 11.0 scoring average

ABOUT COLUMBUS STATE

• The Cougars post a 3-1 record, recently falling to Lenoir-Rhyne 57-63 on Saturday
• Four Cougars average in the double-digits in scoring, including Jarrett Adderton (13.8), Wisdom Uboh (11.0), Marquis Davison (10.3) and Joshua Jerome (10.0)
• Davison averages 7.8 rebounds and Jehloni James averages 6.8
