Women's Soccer Hosts PBC Quarterfinals

The Cougars will host Georgia College Monday night in Columbus at 7 p.m.

COLUMBUS - The Columbus State University women's soccer team is set to host the quarterfinal match of the Peach Belt Conference tournament against Georgia College & State University on Monday, Nov. 6 at 7 p.m. at the Walden Soccer Complex.

The Cougars are the second seed in the tournament while the Bobcats are seeded seventh. Columbus State defeated Georgia College 3-1 on Oct. 14 in Milledgeville, Ga.

ABOUT COLUMBUS STATE

CSU finished with an 11-4-1 overall record and a 7-1-1 PBC record
The Cougars lost to PBC rival North Georgia 2-1 to finish out the regular season
Emma Beddow leads the offense with 10 goals and nine assists

ABOUT GEORGIA COLLEGE

GCSU posted an 8-7-2 overall record and a 3-5-1 PBC record
Amanda Dewey and Mia Palumbo each tally four goals this season
The Bobcats lost 3-0 to Lander to finish out the regular season
