Box Score DAYTONA BEACH, Fla. - The Columbus State University men's basketball team defeated Embry-Riddle University in a thrilling 84-82 victory Saturday night in the Bahama House Classic hosted by Embry-Riddle. The Cougars improve to 5-3 overall after the win.
After trailing by eight points at halftime, Columbus State came back and outscored the Eagles 50-40 in the second half to steal the victory.
Jarrett Adderton scored a season-high 27 points, shooting 65 percent (11-17) from the field and 83 percent (5-6) from the free throw line.
Kordell Brown and
Wisdom Uboh each scored 12 points for the Cougars while
Marquis Davison added 11 points and nine rebounds.
As a team, CSU shot 54.5 percent (30-55) from the field and 67.9 percent (19-28) from the free-throw line.
