INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. - The No. 2 Columbus State University men's tennis team finished in third place at the 2023 ITA Division II National Men's Team Indoor Championship, defeating No. 5 Wayne State 4-2 Sunday evening. Witt the win, the Cougars improve to 3-1 overall.

SINGLES

• Santiago Perez beat Dom Spicer 6-1, 6-1 in first singles
• In third singles, Javier Cueto Ramos defeated Daniel Grey in three sets, 6-3, 1-6, 6-2
• Pietro Martinetti took down Luke Laws in fourth singles 5-7, 6-4, 6-3
• Armin Trklja beat Denali Kitayama in fifth singles 6-1, 7-5

DOUBLES

• The team of Martinetti and Ramos lost to Cedric Drenth and Grey in first doubles 4-6
• The pair of Tommaso Schold and Felix Steen fell to Laws and Spicer 1-6 in second doubles
