COLUMBUS - The Columbus State University softball team is set for a nonconference doubleheader against Southern Wesleyan University on Tuesday, Feb. 28 at Cougar Field with the first pitch starting at 3 p.m.

The Cougars are coming off a three-day weekend of playing five games in the NFCA Leadoff Classic. CSU went 3-2 and ended the weekend with a 3-0 victory over West Chester University on Sunday. Columbus State posts an overall record of 8-4.

Southern Wesleyan is 2-14 on the 2023 season, losing the last 14 games of their schedule. SWU is 0-8 on the road and recently dropped a doubleheader to Tusculum University 3-11 and 4-13.
