COLUMBUS - The Columbus State University softball team will host Peach Belt Conference foe Flagler College on Saturday, April 1 and Sunday, April 2 for a three-game series at Cougar Field. The first game is scheduled for 3 p.m. on Saturday.
History:
Columbus State holds an 18-13 record over Flagler College, winning the last two games, one being in the Peach Belt Conference quarterfinals on May 7, 2022 when the Cougars defeated the Saints 6-5 to advance to the semifinnals.
About the Cougars:
- CSU recently split a pair of games against the University of West Georgia on Wednesday, March 29. The Cougars post a 25-11 record and are 10-2 in the conference.
- Hannah Rose Corbin leads CSU's offense and the PBC in batting average with a .489 and is second in the PBC with a .924 slugging percentage.
- Corbin also leads the team inside the circle with a 3.03 ERA and holds 127 strikeouts. She is 12-7 on the season and Jessica Lopez is 10-2.
