COLUMBUS - The Columbus State University women's soccer team is set to host Peach Belt Conference opponent Lander University on Saturday, Sept. 23 at the Walden Soccer Complex. Kick off is scheduled for 2:30 p.m.
The Cougars post a 19-2-2 all-time record against the Bearcats, dating back to Oct. 9, 2004. At home, Columbus State is 10-1 and currently holds a four-game win streak. On Oct. 30, 2022, CSU defeated Lander 3-1 in the semifinals of the PBC Tournament with
Sage Smith,
Faith Knoedler and
Emma Beddow each tallying one goal.
ABOUT LANDER
- The Bearcats are 5-0 (1-0 PBC), recently beating PBC foe USC Aiken 2-0 on Sept. 16
- Emma Sexton leads Lander's offense with six goals and 14 points

- Lizzie Hedrick is 1-2 in goal and Heidi Harris is 1-1. Hedrick tallies 15 saves
