Columbus State defeated the Sand Sharks (7-5-4) in a 4-0 victory in Bluffton, S.C. for the PBC season finale a week ago and will look to replicate the result on Saturday. With a win, CSU would host both semifinal matches on Friday, Nov. 15 and the championship match on Sunday, Nov. 17 as the highest remaining seed.
USCB finished the season with a 7-5-4 overall record while finishing PBC play with a 3-4-2 record. The Sand Sharks finished the regular season against the Lady Cougars last Saturday.
CSU finished up the regular season on Wednesday with a road trip to Montevallo (Ala.) in non-conference play, securing a 5-0 win in the process. The Lady Cougars finished the regular season besting opponents 77-8 in total scoring with just one tie on the slate.
In the last meeting versus USCB, CSU secured a 4-0 win by out-shooting the Sand Sharks 25-5 overall and 16-3 in shots on goal.
