COLUMBUS – Columbus State University Athletics has released the Fall 2024 academic results, and the CSU athletic teams posted a department-wide 3.17 grade-point average with 70 percent of student-athletes achieving a 3.0 GPA or higher.
 
CSU marked one of the best semesters in school history, with a total of 201 student-athletes recording a 3.0 or greater. Of the 70 percent of student-athletes with a 3.0 or greater, 16 percent (46 student-athletes) marked 4.0s for the fall semester while a total of 155 student-athletes recorded 3.0-3.9 GPAs.
 
A total of three programs notched above a 3.6 team GPA for the term with women's tennis leading the way with a 3.71 GPA. Women's Soccer followed with a team GPA of 3.68 and a department-leading 13 student-athletes with 4.0s. Women's basketball rounded out the top three with a program-best 3.61 GPA.
