DAHLONEGA, Ga. - The Columbus State University women's basketball team defeated North Georgia 66-61 Saturday afternoon in Dahlonega, Ga. The Lady Cougars improve to 12-8 (8-4 PBC) and UNG falls to 14-8 (7-5 PBC).
Columbus State maintained the lead throughout the entirety of the game, holding UNG's offense from not outscoring the Lady Cougars in every quarter.
Olonna Rawls and
Letiya Reeves each scored 14 points and
Bre'lyn Snipes tallied 13 points. Rawls and Snipes also each recorded eight rebounds.
CSU shot 84.2 percent from the free-throw line, and 29.6 percent from the field and three-point line.

CSU will return to the Frank G. Lumpkin, Jr. Center on Wednesday, Feb. 14 at 5:30 p.m. against Clayton State University.
