COLUMBUS - The Columbus State women's basketball team improves their win streak to four games after beating USC Aiken 76-65 Saturday afternoon in the Frank G. Lumpkin, Jr. Center.
The Lady Cougars now hold a 14-8 (10-4 PBC) record.
CSU outscored USCA in the first quarter 33-14 to begin a lead that will continue throughout the entirety of the game. However, the Pacers outscored the Lady Cougars 18-4 in the fourth period, closing in on Columbus State's lead, but it wasn't enough.
Bre'lyn Snipes had one of her best performances on Saturday, scoring 20 points and grabbing six rebounds, leading CSU both offensively and defensively.
Letiya Reeves tallied 17 points and
Simone Lett scored 10.
Columbus State shot 42.9 percent from the field, 42.1 percent from three-point range and 72.7 percent from the free-throw line.
