GREENWOOD, S.C. - The Columbus State University men's and women's basketball teams will head to Lander University on Saturday, Feb. 24 for a Peach Belt Conference doubleheader. The women will start at 1:30 p.m. and the men will follow at 3:30 p.m.
Women
The Cougars and Bearcats are very close in the PBC standings as CSU is currently in third with a 10-5 PBC record, and the Bearcats are right behind in fourth with a 9-6 conference record. Earlier in the season, Columbus State beat Lander 62-60 in Columbus, so this game in Greenwood will be just as competitive as it was in the Lumpkin Center on Jan. 27.
WyKira Johnson-Kelly leads Lander's offense with an 18.0 scoring average. CSU's
Letiya Reeves is right there with her, averaging 17.0 points per game for the Lady Cougars.

Men
Lander men are atop of the PBC standings with a 12-3 conference record, while the Cougars are tied for sixth place, posting a 6-9 PBC record. On Jan. 27, Lander beat Columbus State by just three points, 70-67, in Columbus. The Cougars are looking to bring more energy into the road match on Saturday.
Jarrett Adderton is averaging 16.4 points per game for CSU, while Lander's leader, Inady Legiste, is only averaging 12.4.
