KEARNEY, Neb. - The No. 6 Columbus State University women's tennis team lost 3-4 in a thrilling match against No. 5 Saint Leo University in the first round of the ITA Division II Indoor National Championship hosted by the University of Nebraska Kearney.
After losing the doubles point, the Lady Cougars got motivated to dominate in singles. The match was tied 3-3 and it all came down to the #3 singles match between CSU's
Isadora Oliveira and Saint Leo's Lavinia Lancellotti. After three hours of play, Lancellotti beat Oliveira in three sets, 7-6 (7-5), 5-7, 5-7.

- Mariana Ramirez and Nikoline Gullacksen won 6-3
- Yelena Labat and Isadora Oliveira lost 3-6
- Agostina Bigotti and Laura Pesickova lost 2-6
Singles
- Ramirez won 7-5, 6-4
- Gullacksen won 6-4, 6-4
- Oliveria lost 7-6 (7-5), 5-7, 5-7
- Pesickova lost 6-3, 4-6, 4-6
- Bigotti lost 5-7, 6-3, 2-6
- Labat won 6-3, 7-6 (8-6)
Columbus State will play in a consolation match on Saturday, Feb. 24 at 9 a.m. (8 a.m. CT) against the loser of No. 2 Nova Southeastern and No. 14 Wayne State. The full bracket can be found
