COLUMBUS - On Saturday, March 2 at the John W. Walden Tennis Center, the men's and women's Columbus State tennis teams defeated the University of Montevallo.
Men
The fifth-ranked Cougars improve to 5-3 after blanking the Falcons 7-0. CSU swept doubles play as the pairs of
Felix Steen and
Andreas Sandrone,
Thomas Cardona and
Daniel Hammond, and
Elias Peter and
Camilo Cano each won their matches easily.
Columbus State also swept singles play.

Women
The eighth-ranked Lady Cougars beat Montevallo 5-2 and also improve to 5-3 on the season. The duos of
Mariana Ramirez and
Nikoline Gullacksen, and
Isadora Oliveira and
Yelena Labat each won their doubles match for CSU to win the doubles point. The team of
Agostina Bigotti and
Laura Pesickova lost playing in third doubles.
