GREENWOOD, S.C. - The Columbus State University softball team travels to Lander University for a three-game Peach Belt Conference series starting Friday, March 8 in Greenwood, S.C.

History
The Cougars hold a 57-16 record over the Bearcats, winning the last six games, five of those being in the 2023 season. CSU swept LU in the regular-season in Columbus, then beat Lander twice in the PBC tournament hosted by the Cougars. 

Scouting Lander

• The Bearcats are 16-4 (4-2 PBC)
• LU currently holds a four-game winning streak, taking two games from USC Beaufort and beating Assumption University and Embry-Riddle
• Abbie Behe leads the Bearcats with a .493 avg, a .925 slugging, 24 RBI and seven home runs, while Raquel Camuglia is batting .475 with a .900 slugging
• Inside the circle, Bailey Pattison posts a 2.44 ERA in 51.2 innings and is 8-1

• The Cougars are looking to extend their win streak to 10 games as they currently post nine consecutive wins
• Brooke Miller holds a .383 avg with a 1.000 slugging, 11 home runs and 35 RBI, and Lindsey Patton is batting .378 with a .644 slugging
• Julianna Franklin posts a 4.15 ERA with a 4-2 record in 27 innings pitched, Jessica Lopez has a 5.50 ERA and is 4-1 in 35.2 innings, and Haylee Folds records a 5.61 ERA in 53.2 innings
