MILLEDGEVILLE, Ga. - The No. 5 Columbus State men's tennis team and the No. 15 women's tennis team both beat Peach Belt Conference opponent Georgia College State University on Friday afternoon on the road.
Men
The fifth-ranked Cougars beat GCSU 6-1 and improve to 11-5 (3-1 PBC). In doubles play, the teams of

Elias Peter beat their opponents 6-4 and 6-1 to take the doubles match point. Five Cougars earned victories in singles:

The fifteenth-ranked Lady Cougars defeated the Bobcats 5-2, improving to 11-5 (4-0 PBC). The pairs of

Yelena Labat won their doubles matches 6-2 and 6-3 to give CSU the doubles point. In singles play, four Lady Cougars tallied wins while two Bobcats recorded wins. Gullacksen,
Laura Pesickova, Oliveira and Labat each won their singles match, while Ramirez and
Agostina Bigotti lost.
