COLUMBUS - The No. 15 Columbus State University women's tennis team lost a tight match to No. 11 Flagler College in a rivalry Peach Belt Conference matchup Sunday morning at the John W. Walden Tennis Center in Columbus.
Columbus State falls to 11-6 (4-1 PBC) while Flagler improves to 10-3 (3-1 PBC).

Nikoline Gullacksen were beating nationally-ranked Meier/Heimen 5-4 before the match became unfinished.
Flagler picked up the pace in singles play, winning four of the six matches to beat CSU. Gullacksen defeated Heimen in the second spot 7-5, 6-3 and Oliveira beat Floeth in three sets in the fourth spot (6-3, 2-6, 6-3). Ramirez and Labat both lost to their opponents in three sets, while Pesickova and Bigotti fell in two.Â

CSU will host No. 4 the University of North Georgia on Friday, April 19 at the John W. Walden Tennis Center. The match is set to start at 2 p.m. for the men and the women.
