Lady Cougars Knock Off Undefeated North Georgia To Claim a Share in the PBC Regular Season Championship

The women’s tennis team edged the Nighthawks at home to ruin UNG’s undefeated season.

Box Score COLUMBUS - No. 14 Columbus State University women's tennis continued its strong season, downing previously ranked No. 3 University of North Georgia at the John W. Walden Tennis Center, 4-3. The Cougars improved to 12-6 on the season and 5-1 in the Peach Belt Conference.

With the win, the Cougars clinched a share in the 2024 PBC Regular Season Co-Championship. Pending match outcomes tomorrow for Flagler College (11-4, 4-1 PBC) and North Georgia (19-1, 4-1 PBC), Columbus State has a chance to become the outright champions of the regular season.
