ALTAMONTE SPRINGS, Fla. - The fourth-seeded Columbus State University men's tennis team survives and advances to the NCAA Final Four after defeating the fifth-seeded University of Indianapolis 4-1 on Wednesday morning in the NCAA quarterfinal match.

Andreas Sandrone defeated their opponents to give CSU a 1-0 lead over UIndy. Each pair won 6-2.
Moving into singles competition, UIndy tied the match at one after No. 1 ranked Tom Seuch beat Welz 6-2, 6-0 in the first spot. However, the Cougars dominated in the second, third and fifth spots to send the team to the semifinals.
In third singles, Cano won 7-6 (5-7), 6-1 to give CSU the lead again. Cardona then put the Cougars ahead 3-1 with a 6-4, 6-3 win in the second spot. Peter gave CSU the clinching point in No. 5 singles, winning 6-3, 7-6 (7-5).
UP NEXT
Columbus State will look to beat first-seeded and PBC rival Flagler College in a rematch contest on Friday, May 24 at 9 a.m. The winner of Friday's match will advance to the national championship on Saturday.
Flagler defeated CSU in the PBC Tournament Championship 4-2 on April 28.
