COLUMBUS - Columbus State University Men's Cross Country continues the 2024 campaign with a trip to the 12th Annual UNG XC Invitational hosted by North Georgia.
Friday's meet will also serve as the 2024 Peach Belt Conference Championship preview meet. The Cougars will get an early glimpse at the home course for the PBC Championship as well as the NCAA Division II Southeast Regionals in Gainesville, Ga. on Friday evening.
Last season, Blake Lewis led the charge with a 14th-place finish. Lewis' time of 26:19.0 helped land the Cougars a fifth-place team finish. Columbus State is coming off a second-place team finish at the GMC Brickyard Invitational last week.
Elijah Sires, Daniel Leonard, and Nicholas Phillips all earned top ten placements in Milledgeville. The Cougars look to shift last week's momentum into Friday's race with a good showing in Gainesville.
CSU is set to run the 8K race at 5:45 p.m. ET prior to the women's race at 6:30 p.m. ET. Meet information can be found here as well.
Results will be produced by Runners Fit Raceworks and will be loaded to TFRRS immediately following the completion of both races.
