COLUMBUS – The Columbus State University men's and women's basketball teams will hit the road for a big Peach Belt Conference bout at North Georgia on Monday night after shifting the game from Saturday afternoon due to the winter weather this weekend.

Women's Basketball vs #6 North Georgia
The Lady Cougars (8-4, 2-1 PBC) will take on the toughest opponent so far this season as the Nighthawks (13-0, 3-0 PBC) are ranked sixth in the both the WBCA and D2CSC polls, sitting comfortably atop of the PBC standings. CSU is coming off an 85-72 victory against Georgia Southwestern, led by
Simone Lett's career night of 18 points.
Against the Hurricanes, Columbus State finished with the third-best field goal percentage of the season (41.3%), scoring 80-plus points for the fifth time this season as well.
Bre'lyn Snipes,
Letiya Reeves, and
Olonna Rawls continue to be the top three scorers with double figure averages. Rawls and
Kristyn Goshay are the top two assist producers of the season with 2.4 and 2.0 assists per game, respectively. Rawls leads in two other categories as well with 5.6 rebounds per game and 3.2 steals per contest.
As for UNG, they are one of DII's hottest teams with a 13-0 record and a spotless PBC record. North Georgia averages 77.7 ppg and is shooting for 45.2% from the field, 36.8% from three, and 75.6% from the foul line. The Nighthawks are led by three players in double figure scoring averages with Caroline Martin averaging 16.8 ppg as the top scorer.

#25 Men's Basketball vs #24 North Georgia
The No. 25-ranked Cougars (11-2, 2-1 PBC) are coming off a 94-89 home victory over Georgia Southwestern led by
Jarrett Adderton's career-best 35 points and
Jehloni James' double-double. CSU is averaging 84.6 ppg and are led by Adderton, James, and
Wisdom Uboh who all average double figure scoring.
Back on Wednesday, the Cougars notched the fourth game with 90 or more points, holding a 4-0 record in those games. A total of four players gathered double-digit points with Adderton leading the way. James followed with 21 points and 10 boards while Uboh and
Kordell Brown finished with 15 and 12 points, respectively.
As for the Nighthawks (11-4, 3-0 PBC), they sit atop of the PBC standings and are ranked No. 24 in the latest D2CSC poll. UNG averages 75.5 ppg and are shooting 46.9% from the field, 38.8% from three, and 71.2% from the foul line as a team this season. A total of four players average double-digit scoring with AJ White leading with 16.5 ppg.
