COLUMBUS - Columbus State University's weekend road trip to North Georgia has been halted and shifted to Monday night due to the projected severe winter weather in the Dahlonega area.
 
The Peach Belt Conference doubleheader will now take place on Monday night with the Lady Cougars tipping-off at 5:30 p.m. ET and the Cougars slated to follow at 7:30 p.m. ET. The matchup was originally slated for Saturday afternoon at 1:30 p.m. ET and 3:30 p.m. ET. According to UNG officials, campus operations and activities will be closed on Friday and Saturday in preparation for the weather.
