COLUMBUS – The Columbus State University Women's Basketball team will open the 2025–26 campaign ranked #24 in the WBCA/Division II Preseason Rankings.

The Lady Cougars are coming off a strong 2024–25 season in which they posted a 21–9 record and advanced into postseason play. The ranking reflects both CSU's recent success and the high expectations surrounding this year's roster under head coach Matt Houser.

Columbus State will tip off the new season on Friday, November 14, when the Lady Cougars host Tusculum University inside the Frank G. Lumpkin Jr. Center. The home opener is scheduled for 5:30 p.m. ET as part of a men's and women's basketball doubleheader.
