AUGUSTA, Ga. – The Columbus State University women's soccer program claimed two individual postseason awards, while totaling seven All-Conference nods, as the Peach Belt announced Friday.
Senior forward
Sarah Hungerford headlined the honors, being named both the 2025 Peach Belt Conference Offensive Player of the Year and recipient of the league's Select Gold Ball Award, which is awarded to the player with the most goals in conference play.
Abigail Akerson was recognized with the Peach Belt Elite 18 Award, which is given to the student-athlete with the highest cumulative grade-point average at the respective sports championship.
In addition to the individual awards, Columbus State landed three players on the First Team All-Conference list
All three were instrumental in CSU's dominant two-way performance this season, combining for one of the league's most balanced attacks and strongest defenses.
Hungerford's offensive explosion was complemented by Croft and Leal's dominant defense, which posted one of the lowest goals-against averages in the Peach Belt.
Four additional Cougars were named to the PBC All-Conference Second Team:
Medina and Robinson finished the regular season tied second on the team with seven goals a piece, while Williams helped anchor the Cougar defense that held opponents to a .76 GAA this season. In the midfield, Tumbelty recorded one goal in 15 starts this season.
The squad kicks off its postseason run on Saturday, taking on USCA at the Walden Soccer Complex at 2 p.m.
