MILLEDGEVILLE, Ga. - The Columbus State Cougars lost 12-2 against Peach Belt Conference rival Georgia College State University on Saturday. The Cougars take the three-game series 2-1 and the Cougars fall to 24-20 (14-10 PBC) on the season.
Columbus State scored two runs on nine hits, in the second inning and the sixth inning.
Sebastian Collender hit a home run to left field for the Cougars in the second inning to the go ahead 1-0.
Columbus State hitting was led by Collender who went 1-for-3, with a run scored, and one RBI, while teammate
Bryce Knox went 2-for-2 at the plate.
Bradley Wilson pitched a complete game for Georgia College and gained his eighth win of the season.
