AUGUSTA, Ga. - The Columbus State University softball team has earned the No. 6 seed for the 2025 Peach Belt Conference (PBC) Tournament and will open postseason play against third-seeded Flagler College in the quarterfinals on Friday, May 2, at 1:30 p.m. ET.
The single-elimination tournament will be hosted by top-seeded North Georgia at Haines & Carolyn Hill Stadium in Dahlonega, Ga.
CSU closed out the regular season on a high note, sweeping Georgia Southwestern in a three-game series capped by a 5-0 shutout and a 4-1 victory on Senior Day. The Lady Cougars head into postseason play with a 32-24 overall record while going 11-13 in conference action this season.
Columbus State is the reigning PBC Tournament Champion and will look to defend their crown with a tough road ahead, beginning at the sixth-seeded position. A victory over Flagler would advance CSU into the semifinals on Saturday, May 3, at 12:00 p.m., where they would face the winner of the Georgia College & State University and Georgia Southwestern quarterfinal.
Tickets for the tournament will be available for purchase later this week. For more information and tournament updates, visit
