COLUMBUS - Columbus State University senior pitcher
Julianna Franklin continues to earn postseason recognition, capping off an outstanding 2025 senior season by being named to the Division II Conference Commissioners Association (D2CCA) First-Team All-Southeast Region, announced Monday.
Franklin was a workhorse in the circle for the Cougars, making 34 appearances with 29 starts and throwing for 199.1 innings. She compiled a 17-13 record with a 2.21 ERA and a 1.11 WHIP, while holding opponents to a .221 batting average. The left-hander recorded 158 strikeouts against just 46 walks and threw five shutouts as part of her 23 complete games.
Earlier this season, she was named the Peach Belt Conference Pitcher of the Year, First Team All-PBC, and NFCA First-Team All-Southeast Region. Franklin's D2CCA honor further highlights her stellar senior season. She is now eligible for D2CCA All-American consideration, which will be announced later this month.
