Dahlonega, Ga. – The Columbus State University men's and women's cross-country teams hit the course on Saturday at the 13th Annual UNG Invitational, taking on a competitive field in the mountains of North Georgia.
Men's 8K Recap
The Cougar men battled through the hilly 8K course to place fifth overall with a team time of (2:27:45).
Blake Lewis continued to pace CSU, clocking a time of (27:47.8) to finish 16th overall in the individual standings. His effort highlighted a consistent showing from the Cougar pack that kept CSU in the top half of the leaderboard.
Women's 5K Recap
On the women's side, Columbus State placed eighth with a team mark of (1:47:21).
Noah Griffeth turned in the standout performance for the Lady Cougars, finishing 35th overall with a time of (20:56.0). Her effort anchored a youthful CSU lineup gaining valuable experience against a strong regional field.
