- Junior Jax Yoxtheimer and senior Jackson Chizek each had an RBI single in the inning, while senior Cayden Evans drove in two runs with an RBI double to left center to give CSU a 4-1 lead.
- Columbus State added five more runs to its total in the third, including an RBI single from junior Jacob Smith and a pair of bases-loaded walks issued to Evans and junior Cole Eison.
