Rising Cougars Unveil 2026 Women's Golf Fall Schedule

COLUMBUS, Ga. – The Columbus State University Women's Golf team has announced its 2026 fall schedule as head coach Kristin Culpepper prepares for her third full season leading the Cougars.

Columbus State is scheduled to compete in four tournaments during the fall season, opening play September 14-15 at The City with Spirit Fall Classic in Cleveland, Tennessee.

The Cougars will then travel to McCormick, South Carolina, for the Savannah Lakes Fall Invitational on September 21-22 before heading to Dahlonega, Georgia, for the LeeAnn Noble Memorial on October 12-13. Columbus State closes its fall campaign at the D2 Elite Invite on October 26-27 in Toccoa, Georgia.

"This schedule presents a great opportunity for us to compete against some outstanding programs while continuing to build toward our goals as a team," said Culpepper. "Our student-athletes have put in tremendous work throughout the offseason, dedicating themselves to improving both on and off the golf course. I'm excited to welcome a talented freshman class, along with transfer student-athlete Marissa Holder from Georgia Military College. The commitment, work ethic, and determination this group has already shown throughout the summer gives me great confidence in what we can accomplish this season. We're excited for the challenges ahead and believe this team has the potential to reach new heights."

The Cougars return to three tournaments they competed in during the 2025 fall season, including the Savannah Lakes Fall Invitational, LeeAnn Noble Memorial and D2 Elite Invite. Columbus State opened last season with a fourth-place finish at the Full Moon BBQ Invitational before placing ninth at Savannah Lakes, 16th at the LeeAnn Noble Memorial, and 15th at the D2 Elite Invite.

The Cougars found their stride during the spring season, highlighted by a runner-up finish at the Oldfield Intercollegiate and a fourth place showing at the Peach Belt Conference Championship.

The Cougars return an experienced core led by junior Sydney Himes, who finished the 2025-26 season ranked No. 112 in the region. Sophomore Mia Arroyo also returns after ending the year ranked No. 129 regionally, while senior Peyton Maraman enters her final season ranked No. 147 in the region.

Junior Samantha Dewendt Morales and sophomore Nathariya Phimsoutham also return after gaining valuable experience during the 2025-26 campaign.

Columbus State will also welcome freshmen Julia Schlitt and Violet Northcott, along with sophomore transfer Marissa Holder from Georgia Military College, as the Cougars prepare for the 2026-27 campaign.
