2013 (Junior): Ran in all seven races for the Cougars during her sophomore season, including the NCAA Division II Championship (11/23)…Finished fifth at the Lady Cougar Invitational (9/12).

2012 (Sophomore): Ran in six of seven races for the Lady Cougars in her sophomore season...Finished a season-best 13th at the Darton Invitational (9/1)...Ran her best 6k time of the season at the NCAA Championship (11/17) running the course in 24:05.

2011 (Freshman): Competed in all six races for the Lady Cougars in her freshman season…Career best time in a 5k came at the Charlotte Invitational (9/30) as she crossed the line in 20:39.93…Finished 23^rd at the Georgia Southwestern Remembrance Run (9/10) with a time of 22:02.5…Named to the Peach Belt Conference Presidential Honor Roll. 

High School: Graduated from Las Vegas High School in Las Vegas, NV…A four-year runner for Coach Yvette Fracis…Received the Most Outstanding Runner Award three times (2008, 2009, 2010)…Qualified to run at the Nevada State Meet in 2010.

Personal: Daughter of Darryl and Kimberly Nelson…Favorite food is macaroni and cheese…Lists Michael Jordan as her favorite professional athlete…Likes to listen to music and hang out with her friends in her spare time…Never has but would like to run a marathon some day.
