2015 (Junior): Started 48 of the 49 games for the Cougars...Posted a .320 batting average, finishing with 58 hits...Third on the team with 13 doubles...Scored 40 runs and drove in 31...Hit three home runs, inlcuding a long ball against UNC Pembroke in the Peach Belt Conference quarterfinals (5/9).

2014 (Sophomore): Started in all 57 games for the Cougars as their third baseman...Was named to the Rawlings Gold Glove team committing only 5 errors in 173 chances at third base...Had 84 hits in 243 at bats for a .346 average...banged 12 doubles, a triple, and three home runs...scored 52 runs and knocked in 36 runs...Stole 14 bases in 16 attempts.

2013 (Freshman): Had a solid frehman campaign for the Cougars...played in 45 of the Cougars games as a middle infielder...hit .293 for CSU in 147 at bats scoring 35 runs...hit 8 doubles and knocked in 13...was named to the PBC All-Tournament team for his outstanding play in the conference tourney.

High School: Graduated from Pike County High School in Zebulon, GA…Played four years for head coach Don Hanson…Helped team to three region championships and a state runner-up finish in 2011…Named All-Region three times…Hit .484 his senior year.

Personal: Son of Rick and Cheryl Edwards…Lists Mike Trout as his favorite professional athlete…Enjoys fishing, hunting, working out, running, eating, and hitting in his spare time…Wants to play professional baseball or become a pharmacist after college.
